Three _ killed _in _ queen Elizabeth national park . *The call for unity in the Face of Adversity *

Dear Fellow Ugandans,

As Miss Tourism Kigezi, my role is not just to represent the beauty of our region, but to share a message of hope and unity that extends to every corner of our great nation. In light of the recent tragic incident in Queen Elizabeth National Park, I would like to address you with a heavy heart, but also with a spirit full of hope and resilience.

The incident that took place is a stark reminder that even in the most serene places, we must remain vigilant and united in the face of adversity. We mourn the loss of precious lives and condemn acts of violence that threaten the safety and peace of our beautiful land.

To overcome this tragic event, let us stand together and support one another. Unity is our greatest strength. Reach out to your fellow citizens, lend a helping hand to those affected, and let compassion guide our actions.

In the tourism industry, safety and security are of utmost importance. I encourage all of us, as Ugandans, to work hand in hand with our security forces and authorities to ensure that our nation remains a safe and welcoming destination for visitors. Let us be the guardians of our own peace, reporting suspicious activities, and remaining vigilant in our communities.

Education and awareness are powerful tools in our quest to overcome these challenges. It is essential that we understand the issues that affect our country and work towards solutions. Together, we can build a brighter and more secure future for all.

Uganda is a land of natural wonders, rich culture, and warm-hearted people. Let us not allow these tragic events to overshadow the incredible beauty that defines our nation. We can and will overcome, standing stronger and more united than ever before.

In this moment of sorrow, let us find solace in the promise of a better tomorrow and the strength of our unity.

With love and hope for a brighter Uganda,

Pauline Ampeire, Miss Tourism Kigezi
